Grounding Techniques That Actually Work for Gate 22

Here are a few body-led grounding techniques for the Gate 22 being:

Sound Grounding
→ Put on a single instrumental track. Lay down. Let the music move through you.

Scent Anchoring
→ Because of our Smell cognition, light a grounding scent. Breathe it in slowly. Let it signal, "I am here."

Movement Matching
→ Slow swaying, stretching, rocking. Let your body speak your emotional wave.

Talk-to-Text Journaling
→ Speak what you feel without needing to organize it.

The goal isn’t to suppress your wave.
The goal is to stay with it without collapse.

Mini Practice: Grace Activation

  1. Place one hand over heart, one over belly.

  2. Exhale all the breath in you before inhaling.

  3. Breathe in through the nose for 4 counts.

  4. Exhale through the mouth like a sigh.

  5. Whisper: "I trust my timing. I trust my tide."
