Your Unseen Creativity
There’s even more creativity in you than you’ve been expressing.
Your creative flow has been moving through you your whole life, in the way you put an outfit together, arrange a room until it finally feels right, or find the words that make a friend feel seen. In the new era, creativity grows from who you are as an individual, and this report is a first glimpse of how yours moves.
On these pages you’ll see the three phases of your creative flow through your Human Design profile. And you’ll meet the one phase almost no one talks about... the one that gives your creativity... an on button.
The Three Phases
There are three phases to your creative flow, and in the new era, knowing yours matters more than ever. We’re creating on a white canvas now... no box to fit inside, and no box to think outside of. Just open space, where creativity grows from who you are.
How what you create is experienced. Sometimes it’s something you can hold, and sometimes it’s something you sense, feel, or simply experience.
What you experience while you’re creating. It’s so natural to how you move that most of the time it happens without you noticing.
What comes before you ever begin. The container that keeps your creative tap ready to turn on whenever you want it.
Output
This can be about what gets created, but truly it’s more about how it’s experienced. It may not be tangible. It can be something you sense, feel, or simply experience.
Creating
This is about all that you are experiencing as you are creating. You may not be aware of it yet, because it’s so automatic... it happens without your noticing most of the time. This is your creative potential, flowing from how you naturally move.
Antecedent
This is the most important key to creating in the new era, and it’s the part that rarely gets talked about. Your antecedent is everything that comes before you create. It’s the container you set up for yourself, the one that keeps your creative tap ready with an on button, so the flow is there whenever you desire it. When you don’t know your antecedent, creativity feels mysterious because it seems to come and go on its own.
{ What has to be true around you before your creativity says yes? }
This is exactly what we’re exploring in our next Cycle of Being on Substack...
The Awakening We Share
For 19 years, I mentored over 5,000 students at a creative college in Los Angeles. So many of them walked in not feeling creative... and wanting to be with their whole heart. Helping them find the part of creativity that comes before the work became the thread through all my years there.
About ten years ago, I started to sense the new era arriving. I saw it in the younger generations, in the way they wanted to create, and in the places and industries where the old rules simply stopped working. At the same time, I was stepping into my own midlife, and I had my own creative awakening. I’ve always known I was creative. I hear the stories from when I was little, and I can see how it has moved through my whole life. And still... everything about the way I created changed.
Then I found Human Design, and suddenly what I was living had an organization to it. Fluid and flexible, with a structure that gave me even more room to create in a way that was uniquely me. I could sense where the rules mattered, and where there was freedom to twirl and stretch them. I already knew it all inside me, but Human Design gave me the language for it.
In the new era, there’s a white canvas. It’s full of light. White is the presence of all colors. A box closes into darkness, the absence of all color. Your white canvas holds all of your colors... all of your potential, glowing. Your white light.
Maybe you’re feeling this too. Maybe your work has changed, for some of us drastically, like a company closing or being let go. Maybe you’re thinking about what you want the second half of your life to look like. Maybe you have the freedom now to do it your way, and you don’t even know what you’re creating yet... you just know there’s something there. You might already be in the painting class, or have the book full of creative exercises. Those give you technique. What comes before you ever pick up the brush is where your creativity truly begins.
That’s why I can’t stop talking about Phase 1. It has always been the key to creating, and in the new era it’s foundational. And it’s what we’re exploring together inside The Red Thread Lab in our next Cycle of Being, Your Creative Inner Studio, beginning November 29, 2026.
Let’s Look at Your Design Together
I know how this can feel. Something big is bubbling, and the people in your everyday life may not be the ones you can talk with about it. You might not have anyone who reflects you back to yourself this way.
For me, being in conversation is vital to all of this. I have a saying...
Because I see you, I see me.
I call it relational contrast. When I experience other people, I see what is like me and what isn’t, and both matter. The similarities and the differences each show me more of who I am.
So here’s my invitation to you. Run your IGNITE Her® Frequencies chart here: igniteherbrand.com/26aspects, then send me the PDF by DM or email at hello@creativeextension.com. I’ll look at your full design and share back one more thing I see in you.
