ep 31 Going My Way

31-Aug-2026

Sometimes all we can see are the obstacles. This practice is about training your eyes to see what's already moving in your favor.

In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a practice called Going My Way.

It's simple. Name at least one thing that's going your way right now. No qualifier. No but at the end. Just name it and stop there.

What makes this one different is how casually it works. No structure required. No boxes to check. No tracking. Just let it slip into your day on a walk, at your desk, when something catches your eye and reminds you. The practices that work best are the ones that don't require you to set the stage first. This is one of those.

I share how this summer I tied this practice into an Oracle spread using all four Human Design variables (your natural ecosystem) and what happened because of it. I'm building toward something big right now: The Red Thread Lab becoming a full publication with many voices, curated by me. I first thought of it in April and immediately thought I can't do that. That was the exact moment I needed to start seeing what was already going my way.

Because of it I had more meaningful collaboration this summer than ever before. And then just last week, in the middle of a very full emotional week, a friend asked me to make artwork for her. I said yes without thinking. It wasn't until the day after I finished it that I realized that request was exactly what was going my way. She came at the perfect moment, got me into work I love, and brought me back into alignment. I wouldn't have made that artwork on my own. But I had the time. I just needed someone to ask.

Things are already moving for you. This practice just makes sure you get to see it.
