ep 26 Bullfrog Hum
28-July-2026
What if regulating your nervous system was supposed to be… a little ridiculous?
In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing one of the silliest and most effective micro-practices I know… the Bullfrog Hum.
Inhale. Puff your cheeks. Hum it out.
That's it.
Kids do this naturally all the time. Making sounds, being silly, doing things that have no meaning and aren't meant to be understood. And in doing that they regulate before they even need to. They don't wait for a stressful event. They just play.
This practice is an invitation back to that. Not because something went wrong. Not because you need to calm down. Because it's fun. Because it's silly. Because you can.
And when you do it, something reorganizes inside. The mental noise softens. The rabbit holes close up a little. You come back to yourself, lighter than you were a minute ago.
I share how I use this one with my son, why his whole body giggles every time, and why that alone is reason enough. No dramatic pivot story needed.
I also bring in a Human Design layer using your profile line so you can find the flavor of this practice that feels most natural to you. Details in the show notes.
