What if your body has been waiting to be included… and all it needed was a tap?

In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing a regulating practice called Awaken Body Tap.

When we lead with our minds, our bodies often get left behind. And when your mind is moving forward while your body is frozen, shaking, or numb, you're working against yourself sending mixed signals without even knowing it.

This practice uses touch to wake your body up and signal your nervous system: we're here, we're safe, we can move.

It's one of the very first practices I learned for regulating my own body, and one of the first things I introduced to my son when he was one. He's 13 now. It's still one we use.

Simple. Discreet. And it works every time.
